DOODLE A DOVE ART COMPETITION
'Doodle a Dove' to support our work, and sign up to Leica News to be in with the chance of winning a fantastic prize! Doodle a Dove is open to everyone!
Turtle Doves are a rare and iconic bird in the UK but they are in decline. Can you capture the beauty of these birds in a doodle? Go on, have a go! We’d love to see what you come up with. And there are some great prizes to be won:
- Leica Trinovid HD Binoculars
- A Yorkshire Coast Nature VIP Turtle Dove Discovery Day for up to four people
- A signed copy of Iolo Williams’ book
To enter all you have to do is:
- Follow Leica Sport Optics by signing up to their newsletter and/or follow @leicanature on Instagram.
- Either upload a photo of your doodle to Instagram and tag @northturtledove @leicanature #doodleadove
Or submit your doodle by post to:
Howardian Hills AONB (Doodle a Dove), The Old Vicarage, Bondgate, Helmsley, North Yorkshire YO62 5BP.
*Make sure to add your NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER and SOCIAL MEDIA HANDLE (if you have one) to the back of your doodle.
The competition closes on the 10th December 2023 (online photos can be shared on the 10th of December, postal entries must reach the office by the 10th of December).
Winners will be notified by email and/or phone call and will also be invited to a celebration tea at Castle Howard in January 2024 where the entries will be on display.
Iolo Williams will award the prizes at this event.
